Abstract

The use of music as a teaching strategy for learning geography is analyzed. To this purpose, the proposal comes at first, as a concern about the dynamics of this, in human communities settled in villages, enabling vulnerable to deconstruct his imaginary,identity and citizenship as a Venezuelan individual. Music, like teaching strategy for learning geography, represents a proposal to the apprehension of space, based on experiences that music provided through diversity of elements and features. The reflection begins with the set of experiences in training and the construction of learning geography and history of Venezuela for students and communities involved in geohistorical diagnostics. It is part of an education in reflection, criticality, investigation, analysis, and synthesis of which involves notions and categories such as; citizenship, identity, territory, region, sovereignty, nation, work, pollution, wealth, poverty, among others.
