Abstract

In this text we try to collect the significant moments of an educational experience teaching history, from local history : the history of Barrio. The idea is to try to bring the school to the neighborhood and the neighborhood school. Chances are if you go further into this proposal could be a communication between the school and the community and these spaces could be better understood , resulting in a decrease in dropout rates higher than our educational authorities complain. Otherwise, we seek other dynamic scenarios of teaching and learning of History and Social Sciences , an area that has not been well received in school spaces. Concomitant with educational innovation , we seek qualitative evaluation criteria consistent with renewed teaching styles.
