Abstract

The identity is something that features people, inherent to their history and evolution, however, it depends on their roles and protagonists in their daily life activities and also the way they transmit information, therefore the relevance of the process of building up identity inside their local sphere “El Gamelotal”, the interpretation of those captured representations make the dynamic role of people to settle on about their own identity’s rescue and rebuilding, using oral history as a key, since the inhabitants themselves tell their experiences through the years, and supported by the interpretative paradigm, and thus, phenomenology as a standard bearer for their beliefs and superstitions play an important role in the community’s day to day, as well as the participant observation method, which deals with being part of the community and participating in their activities.
