The intercultural integrating axis, a guide for teachers

Abstract

The specific purpose of the research is the design of a digital guide aimed at teachers, to promote the intercultural integrating axis in the Valera Municipality of Trujillo State. Theoretically, the research is based mainly on the theoretical bases of Piaget and that of Vygotsky (1979), UNESCO (2005), Cabero (1998), Ferrer and García (2000), Andara (2010), CRBV (1999), Coll and Martí ( 2001) among others. The methodology corresponds to a projective research, with field design, the type of descriptive research. The population consisted of 27 teachers from the five Bolivarian high schools in the Valera municipality of Trujillo state, specifically social science teachers. The results issued show that there are no pedagogical tools that successfully develop teacher training, which allowed the construction, design and execution of a program model, for the training and updating of educators belonging to the General Secondary Education level, from of the use of ICT, oriented to the development of new alternatives that are available in the Venezuelan educational perspective of the 21st century.
