Education in values for family coexistence: from the axiological perspective of the social worker

Abstract

Axiology, as a branch of philosophy, refers to the study of the nature of values ??and evaluative judgments. Therefore, the profession of Social Work understands that it is based on a system of values ??in such a way that they support it and determine the choice of man against alternatives of conduct. It is for this reason that family life plays an important role in the life of each subject because it is a fundamental part of education in values. Therefore, it is relevant to highlight that this article becomes important when analyzing education in values ??for family coexistence: from the axiological perspective of the Social Worker in the Portoviejo canton, Manabí province, Ecuador. In this sense, this disquisition was oriented under a post-positivist, qualitative approach, with the interpretive phenomenological method, with a type of descriptive, bibliographic, documentary research, taking into account axiology as a sociological current, using the technique of interviewing three workers. Social. Understanding that the values ??mainly have an important principle at home, where parents are considered as the teachers of the physical and emotional stability of the family, emphasizing that they must be strengthened at school, as well as in the social environment. In this sense, it was obtained as a result that the intervention of the Social Worker is an arduous task because, today, a large number of families present weakness in the formation of values, which raises the position of the social professional
