Evaluation of learning in distance education from the UNETI experience

Abstract

UNETI seeks the training of quality professionals and technicians, entrepreneurs, capable of responding assertively to the challenges of the globalized world, in the areas of information technology and telecommunications, with an ethical position in problem solving, a lover of their Homeland and its cultural heritage. To achieve this purpose, the university has developed its management through online educational platforms and digital resources for training, as well as strategic alliances with leading institutions in these areas, for the development of professional practices. Based on a socio-critical curricular design, a series of teaching and learning strategies adapted to virtuality have been created, as well as the evaluation that allows evidence of the learning achieved. In this article, the evaluation strategies most used by UNETI will be exposed and analyzed, as well as some recommendations for the application of evaluation processes under this modality.
