The objective of the present investigation was to analyze the role of Permanent Training and Research Groups - Extension of the Teaching Staff of the Education Program of the National Experimental University “Rafael María Baralt”. The type of research was descriptive analytic with a field design, not experimental and transeccional. The population was 186 teachers, where their sample consisted of 85 subjects, distributed among the four Projects of the Education Program of the UNERMB. In other words, to the extent that the teaching staff receives permanent training, it will be possible to consolidate the formation of Research-Extension Colectives within the University that will undoubtedly respond to the University Curricular Transformation.
