A look at the educational policies of the Venezuelan State from the American Illustrious (1870) at worthy (1935)

It's studied on the educational policies of the Venezuelan State between 1870 and 1935, in presidential periods of Antonio Guzmán Blanco, Andueza Palacios, Joaquín Crespo, Cipriano Castro and Juan Vicente Gómez. The consequences of some educational reforms and conflict with the Catholic Church were analyzed. The decree of Guzmán Blanco in 1870 offers a free, compulsory , secular education and was determined to create a teaching state. Andueza in his brief presidency founded the University of Carabobo, Crespo creates the University of Zulia and teacher retirements. Furthermore a new stage will be described in the Historical period of the country, such as the late nineteenth and early twentieth Cipriano Castro and Juan Vicente Gómez later , who had not produced sufficient efforts to improve education.
