Abstract

Populations are obliged to promote his legacy , its history, its cultural heritage , either through their social, religious , ancestral , economic and political peculiarities. Based on this premise is necessary that the regional history is spread through oral tradition , to listen to their own people , myths , legends, and even part of the history of their communities believed dead and that somehow not he recorded in historical documents. Thus in this first working paper , part of a research project is to rescue the Regional History in Trujillo state (Venezuela) through orality and as a starting point the town of San Lazaro took therefore the kind of research is done from the interpretive naturalist paradigm through semi-structured interviews conducted under a multi-method approach.
