Contributions to the relationship between art-politics and communication as a transversal axis

Given the need to build the route that allows guiding the search for the connection between the concepts of art, politics, communication, this essay intends to outline the theories of Gadamer, Bilbeny and Searle, in relation to: • What is meant by art? , politics and communication? • What notions of power do the selected works present? and • What other perspectives work as theoretical bridges between art, politics, communication and visual tools to understand new technologies? Based on the last question, there will be a theoretical meeting with Chantal Mouffe who argues that art is always political, as long as it resists, affirms or denies a hegemonic order. Contextualization is considered equally important, regarding the artist's training and his position in the society of the past. While Wolton's theory will serve as a paste that ends up giving meaning to the political spaces of art in today's society.
