Elías David Curiel at the gates of demystification

The figure of Elías David Curiel within the history of Falconian literature is one of the most striking and rich. The myth that has formed around the author sometimes overshadows the work and distorts its understanding. His status as a cultural exile, as a wandering Jew, will be his mark and will profoundly influence his poetry. In this work we intend to address certain topics that are presented in his work and, in addition, contrast the criticism that has been raised against his life and work with the historical and social context in which he lived.
